Yu to gam aur khushi ka aadi hu,  (1)
   ye magar khuch alag disha si hai. (2)

Ek kadam khud se  pyar karta hu,
  Ek kadam zindagi parai hai. (1)(2)

Manjilain kaun yaha chahata hai,
  Manjilain kyu ke aani-jaani hai.  (1)(2)

Yahan darta hai kaun marne se,
  Maut jab roj ki kahani hai.  (1)(2)
