Kabse berang thi mere ghar ki diwaareh,
Khoon se rang lagane ki humne koshish ki.

Mere hisse mein koi phool kaha se aata,
Phool ko bhool hi jaane ki humne koshish ki.

Chup hai jazbaat, mera josh, meri khawaeshe,
Enko na hosh mein laane ki humne koshish ki.
