Aaj phir meri nazar milke usse roune lagi,  1
Dard zaalim hai be rehem bahaut rulata hai. 2

Dou ghadi chupke hasata bhi hai agar mujko,
Phir nami dard rukavat se le hi aata hai. 1 2

Dhuae se aag ka rishta asal mein hai lekin,
Mere jigar ko bin dhuae ke hi jalata hai. 1 2

Es tarah darr ka mere zehen pe asar eska,
Yeh mujhe hosh mein madhosh kiye jaata hai.1 2
