Aakhari saas pe hum aag bhujaane nikale

Regretful laugh on Past deeds, before death

Aakhari saas pe hum aag bhujaane nikale,
Apni bigadi ko phir ek baar banane nikale.

Hosh aane mein badi dair ho gayi ae dil,
Tere armaan tere ghar ko girane nikale.

Jindagi tujko banane ka humko jazbaa tha,
Hai kis dhun mein hum yeh khudko mitane nikale.

Kal jise fakr se toukar laga ke chalte the,
Aaj us bheed mein lo hum bhi dewaane nikale.

Hue madhhosh bade shaan se marte hue hum,
Apni hi kabr ko kya khoob sajaane nikale.
